I was recently contacted by Robert Burton Robinson. Robert informed me that he had chosen, and used one of my images for his book cover! That made my day.

Here is a morsel from the book.

“The couple was pumping like wild animals, oblivious to the woman standing in the back yard with a video camera. The sheers across the window offered no privacy whatsoever.

Rebecca was disgusted, but happy. He’s dead meat now, she thought. “Men are such dogs,” she whispered to herself.

Then she remembered she had company. She looked down at the mutt sitting beside her. “Sorry. You’re nothing like that slime ball.”

The dog looked at the window and barked.

Rebecca panicked. The couple was still going at it. But she didn’t want to push her luck. She hit the stop button and began to walk around to the side of the house. The dog was at her heels. She prayed it wouldn’t bark again or bite her on the ankle.

Then she heard the back door open.”

It sounds pretty intriguing to me and kind of sexy.  I hope you’ll check it out too.

Dear Microsoft,

We have been together for a long time. Windows was my first operating system. Thank you, for the years we spent together, in Redmond working on the developing Windows, hand in hand. You put food on my table, you kept my heat on, we had parties. I do enjoy the commercials you have made, with Bill, Steve, and Brian.What the hell was this one about Windows 7 parties? That was lame. and it was just another sign for me, a signal, a beacon from another planet calling out to me.

I hope that you do not see this as sudden, I’ve been slipping away for some time  now. It was hard, really hard to leave Internet Explorer, Office, and Outlook, and now my boat has traveled to the other shore, my rocket has taken me to that other planet. Sure, there will be bumps along the way, as I adjust to my new home. When I miss you, I can easily pull out my Windows 7 within my new environment.  I would not be surprised if you don’t even notice I have left, until you hear the rumble of my Rocket, taking me to the world of Apple, into the world of Steve Jobs.

My new iMac is bigger, stronger, faster, and immaculately dressed in brushed aluminum.  I’ve patiently waited for you to change, I’ve been faithful, I’ve championed you with all my breath until there was none left in my lungs. None left in my heart, but memories.

It’s you, not me.

My husband has gracefully carried me into the other world, and I am excited, elated, and exhilarated with the move. I am forever grateful and thankful for the Snow Leopards (the OSX is the new oxo), the giant 27″screen (HD with 2560-by-1440 resolution), 2.8ghz Intel Core i7, and the 8 gigs of rock hard, ram. We spent the night together,  migrating my old apps, and he taught me about some new ones. I now have at my fingertips, all of this and  a magic mouse.

I’ve been giving it more thought about it. Those parameters are going to make for a BORING picture, SO, I am changing my mind.

New parameters.

PICTURES to use

1.) My hair must be mussed in some way

2.) I should have smeared lipstick

3.) I do not have to be fully dressed but please keep it clean for the children

4.) One shoe, no shoes, two different shoes, two right footed shoes

5.) If you still have the pics of me, mooning, sticking my tongue out or flashing in anyway..this is a great time to bring those out.

6.) Remember that night we got pulled over and we were in handcuffs and Josie wasn’t and took our picture? Yeah..put that one up! hmm, if you do, you are the one who will have to explain to my mother.

7.) Any picture of me loading the dishwasher with soap, as long as you can also see my face.

8.) Christmas morning photo’s, smiling away and opening present in a sea of wrapping paper. If you can find the one with me also eating toast you get extra points for that.

This way, if I am missing, I will be memorable.

In our home, we love Dug. Dug is a charming golden retriever, starring in the movie, Up. I highly recommend taking the time to enjoy the movie up. It is a heartwarming, adventure, story about the life of a man, who learns to live again after the loss of his wife.

I am going to take a nice picture of myself. Hair fixed up, touch of makeup, smile nice, a fetching top, a fluffy little dog tucked up under my arm, perhaps some cleavage and a nice necklace, all  the props for the picture. Then I am going to mass distribute it, you can have copies to pass out if you want to get on the movement too, I need as much help as I can get.  >.> This picture shall saturate the market, and since people are lazy they will grab the easiest one they can find. Does anyone know how to get this posted into the AP photo pool?

2.) Photo’s from that party we were at until 3am (or any party)

3.) The naked ones with the body cut off. If I see those on the news when I am missing, I will know where it came from, and I hope your home becomes overtaken by ants.

4.) The ones from right after I gave birth, this is a six month spread of time.

5.) The ones from right before I gave birth, this includes a year prior spread of time.

6.) Any Christmas morning photo’s, EVER

7.) Any picture involving me with my tongue out.

8.) Any picture involving me mooning you, and or others.

9.) Any picture of me loading soap into the dishwasher.

10.) Morning pictures, even if you want to go on about how cute I am in when I first wake up. You lie, I am clumsy, half of my hair is often sticking straight up, and big pillow lines across my face. Humiliate me with these and if I am missing I am not coming back.

11.) I reserve this one on this, because this list is ever evolving, and if a need arises for you to need a photo of mine to use, please refer to this list first.

Or else….should I list out the ramifications of violating this list? or are we clear?
