Exhibition

A Machine’s Dream

August 21, 2009

After battling a cold/flu/something dreadful on the back of an out of town trip, I was sure ready (way way way ready) for some exploring the grid last night. I log in accept, accept, accept, accept, and thank you all I appreciate it, and inside one of the accepts was a LM to Spiral Walcher’s latest exhibition.

I’m a long time fan of his work. At the beginning of my machinima career,Ducky even did a movie on top of one of his pieces.

Off I went to the exhibit and I am glad I took the time. I landed in front of the exhibit, got my windlight going and went off wandering. Delight yourself with robot-age, and organic-ness, there is a lot of little detail to dig into.

Go forth, enjoy yourself.

Ducky cant help but get into the story

Ducky can't help but get into the story

This was the best way to spend some time today. The beautiful sculpture, the awesome poem and storyline were truly heart touching. Go alone, get your head relaxed, turn on your sound. Click on stuff!!

From Bryn’s notecard:

from her notecard:
First go into midnight sky.  World – Environment settings – Midnight
It was built for this setting and may look terrible in other settings.

The Rabbicorn story was meant to be seen alone or with just a few people about.  I am hoping alone you will become more immersed in the story.  If you go to the sim and its full and laggy then please go back another time.  There are teleports to different parts of the story as well as a machinima inside a TV along the way.
Enjoy and thank you for going to see it.

I would also like to thank IBM for their interest in second life art and for giving me this sim to work on.  Especially Tezcatlipoca Bisani and Jessica Qin
