Getting ready for the Hunt
One hunt, hahahahaha Two two hunts hhahahahha THREE THREE HUNTS hahahahah FOUR that’s right that’s the magic number for me. Starting now through August at various start times there are going to be four hunts to keep you busy.
Not always having time for a full hunt, I still like to dip in and scout about. One thing I appreciate about hunts is the variety of hunt stuff, and the opportunity to be led to shops I might have not seen yet. I like to go through my hunt treasures and find quality that compels me to go shop in their store. Many times I find great quality content to showcase on Here Island.
I must admit often while scouting for the treasure I end up taking twice as long because I kind of hunt and shop simultaneously (and IM). I think hunts actually cost me money, which is probably the point, and I say that they are doing great at it. Thankfully they don’t charge an entrance fee but that would an interesting hunt since many hunter have a weird sense of entitlement.
Sometimes during hunts mini-wars break out. You can hear things like,” Stop following me”, “Why did you shove me?” and the classic we all love, “Oh No you dint!” with ensuing chatting in the group hunt IM box about being polite, being complaining because they can’t find treasure, bickering back and forth between hunters. It’s a full buffet of drama across blogs, forums, IM’s, from the creators to the hunters. AND you know what? Most everyone loves them anyway.
I just put my head down and get to business, shop hunt shop hunt.

The Black Keys Hunt
Starting point: Smack
Dates: August 15-31
The black keys is a hunt that will have prizes being 90% or more black in color. There are 45 stores that you will be stopping by at and you will be hunting out small boxes with the hunt banner on one side and piano key motif on the other. (the song that inspired their hunt)
Slice of Summer
Starting point: Nishi Azabu
Dates: July 18 – August 9
The hunt has 116 stops, and some of the best and most exciting creators on the grid are involved, a lot of awesome Japanese creators as well, a lot of my favorites.

Though you can stamp for free, you need to buy at least one of the products sold at Choice! participants stores. Some stores include the cards in all items, other stores choose part of their range of products as Choice! identified items. Please remember it’s each store owner’s choice. A stamp card is included in a product sold over L$100.
The Prozac Hunt
Starting point: Ticky Tacky
Dates: July 11-30
A bit about the hunt: You are seeking little bottles of Prozac. I was unable to find a notecard about this but the Prozac bottles are pretty easy to find and located along the strip mall at the starting point. I think there are 24 bottles to find.
